Hi everyone today ill be talking about why people may follow a particular type of diet.


Groups with special dietary requirements

There are certain groups of people who have special nutritional needs. You may have different needs at different points in your life, for example, if you change your lifestyle or occupation and when you grow older.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should avoid soft mould-ripened cheese, pate, raw eggs, undercooked meat, poultry and fish, liver and alcohol.

Children and teenagers

As children grow their nutritional requirements change. Children need a varied and a balanced diet rich in protein. Teenagers need to have a good nutritionally balanced diet. Girls need to make sure that they are getting enough iron in their diet to help with effects of puberty.

Vegetarians and vegans

vegetarians generally do not eat meat, fish or any food products made from meat or fish. some vegetarians do not eat eggs. Vegetarians have a lower risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, gallstones, Kidney stones and colon cancer than people who eat meat. They are also less likely to be overweight or have raised cholesterol levels.

Vegans are vegetarians who also do not eat eggs or milk, or anything containing eggs or milk. They may also not consume animal products such as honey, and may refuse to use products made from leather.

A vegetarians or vegan diet may be followed for ethical reasons, certain religions (such as Hindus) usually follow a vegetarian diet, or it may be followed for health reasons.

Hi everyone today I will be telling you how to make some vanilla cupcakes with some blue coloured buttercream icing piped on top. cupcakes are great because you can make them for any occasion for party's, Lunch, and also for work and you can make them any flavour you like and cupcakes are also really yummy too.
