- potatoes, peeled 500g
- milk 225ml
- cream 250ml
- egg yolk 1
- cloves of garlic 1
- salt, pepper
- grated cheese, preferably gruyere cheese 50g
Step 1-Slice the peeled potatoes 3 mm thick.
Step 2-Heat the milk and cream with the garlic.
Step 3-Add the sliced potatoes to the milk and cream season and place in an ovenproof dish.
Step 4-Sprinkle with grated cheese and cook in the oven at 170oC until the potatoes are cooked and golden brown.
