Ingredients you will need
- Onions,Chopped 100g
- oil 35g
- Lamb mince, cooked 400g
- Worcester sauce 2-3 drops
- Potato, cooked 400g
- Butter or margarine 25g
- milk or eggwash
Step 1-Cook the onion in the fat or oil without colouring.
Step 2-Add the cooked meat from which all fat and gristle has been removed.
Step 3-Season and add Worcester sauce (sufficient to bind).
Step 4-Bring to the boil; simmer for 10-15 minutes .
Step 5-Place in an earthenware or pie dish
Step 6-Prepare the potato's-mix with the butter or margarine, then mash and pipe, or arrange neatly on top.
Step 7-Brush with the milk or eggwash.
Step 8-Colour lightly in a hot oven.
Step 9- Serve accompanied with a sauceboat of gravy.
