How to make fruity flapjacks


In todays post I tell you how to make some fruity flapjacks 





             prep time 10 min   cooking time 25 min  Ready in 35min
                                 serves 8

Ingredients needed
  • 150g butter
  • 75g dark brown soft sugar
  • 75g golden syrup
  • 225g porridge oats
  • 75g dried fruit of choice
  • 1 pinch salt
Firstly preheat the oven to 180 C/gas 5.Next melt the butter, sugar and syrup in a saucepan ,but be careful not to let it boil . Then stir in the porridge oats;dried fruit and the salt and mix thoroughly.Press a 20cm round baking tin. Next bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

Lastly remove from the oven and mark into slices lift from the tin and leave to cool before cutting. Store in an airtight container.

Ingredients you will need Puff pastry        200g Sausage meat    400g Egg wash     seasoning Step 1- Roll out the pastry to 3mm thick into a strip 10cm wide. Step 2- Shape the sausage meat into a roll 2cm in diameter. Step 3- Place the sausage meat on the pastry. Moisten the edges of the pastry. Step 4- Fold over and seal. Cut into 8cm lengths.
